Hi, I have a problem with Gnutella and other p2p clients plus similar "non standard" network software that pussles me...

I can't use Gnutella in any form
Napster and like work.(or worked dependig on how you see it http://forums.gnutelliums.com/wink.gif )
Hotline works if i set the proxy to the proxy servers IP (on the LAN)
Shoutcast streaming works if i set winamp's proxy setting to be the proxys URL (proxy.blablabla.yadayada)
Video streaming works by disabling proxy setting entirely in "Internet options" in Control Panel. [This one is the weirdest as i can use other network software like browsers, mail, news etc without enabling proxy at all] (i can't use Gnutella etc obviously http://forums.gnutelliums.com/wink.gif )

Installing socks client software like described in various FAQs is impossible due to winNT denying me installing such software.

So I'd like to know if anyone has a solution or workaround for this problem (or have had similar problems and given up http://forums.gnutelliums.com/frown.gif )
