Uptimes are huge
 

Why when i try to download files, the uptimes for the users i downbload from are huge, (like 3458h 34m), i dont get it?, i can also never connect to these users. I have the newest version of it too.

I think he meant upload times and not uptimes... besides windows isn't that bad. Win 2K never crashes on me... the only time I gotta reboot is to change system files...Hell, I've been up for 4 weeks...whooppee

Well #1, you are probably looking at servers running specialized version of Gnutella... With the source code available, anyone can write a program to do anything on the Gnutella network...

Secondly, some of us do have huge uptimes. My own computer has been on for 3 weeks since I last rebooted (memory upgrade) but then again I don't run FURI constantly either. Get rid of windows and you can have insane uptimes without even trying.

I've been runnins Windows 2000 for over 3 months without rebooting (and hammering it hard during code development). This is not unusual for W2K.

Ron... I'm actually suprised that MS managed to put together a solid OS for once... I know hundred of other people who haven't had one problem with... oh well makes you feel sorry for the people who are forced to use ME...

I ran win2k and it constantly crashed on me. Nothing like the other windoze OSs, but even so, I might get 3 days, maxx.

What are you people doing that I'm not? Or maybe its what am *I* doing?
