General bitch

Just how many people share what they download?

Put a program in my shared folder. For about a week it held a regular queue of 5~10 users and most seemed to download it ok. I got a message saying thanks and that it took a while to down load as it appears only to be the only copy about. Out of interests I removed it and there are no copies about?

Is this really the norm now?

I think this depends on the file size, because many users have only small harddisk. They download large files and burn them on CD, but I think its Ok if they at least share their smaller files like MP3s... a yes and there are sure some people that donīt care about sharing...
