Mac/iTunes trouble

Why can't i share mp3's I create from CD's using iTunes?

mac/iTunes problems

Here's the problem (it's the same on Napster, and they can't do anything about it-saying it's a bug):
I download songs from the CD I made, and convert them to mp3 on iTunes. I can play them fine on my computer, but when i try to share my iTunes files on Limewire, all songs are included EXCEPT ones i created via CD with iTunes! Songs i download from Napster or Limewire onto iTunes are no problem-as I can share them freely.

Pretty strange, and frustrating!
