P2P systems are promising because they require no centrailized servers and no precise control over network topology or data placement. however, the flooding-based query algo. does not scale, because it generates a large amount of traffic and large systems will quickly become overwhelmed by the query-induced load. our goal is to to study new algo. for efficent searching and indexing in P2P systems. |
