Does such software exist ??

I have a LAN with some WIN98 workstations and LINUX box as firewall/NAT Masq, between that Internet and the LAN.
Allowing me to connect mulitple workstations to the Internet.

Okay, I run Bearshare on one of these 98 boxes, and of course the peer to peer connections route through the Linux box and are established on the 98 machine. No probs......

However, I want to move the network load from the 98 box to the Linux box, but want to allow the users of the 98 boxes to do searchs from their win98 desktops, but I want the Linux box to accept the connections.

Any idea what I can use to do this ?

Appliances?

Have you considered a cisco 1400 series router?
