Syfonic new name

I have decided to change the name Syfonic Music Community to Syfonic FileSharing Community. I changed the name because unlike names Gnutella share ALL files :)

:)

Again, no offense but I used to do like that:
First code, then think of a name, then go make promotion.

Syfonic July 21st, 2002 11:08 AM

I will think about that :)

There are just many people out there who are so excited about Gnutella and want to code their own client but have no idea how to do that. They tell you how great their client will be and what it will support, but you cant code your app through telling.

Look at Mike Stokes, we've never heard of Shareaza before that day it got published and its one of the most advanced clients available.

I do not talk I just take action and I am not saying that my client will be the best that there is.

Who Do You Think You Are Fooling?

I don't mean to insult you, and by no means do I frequent these boards or know anything about clients and whatnot - I just came on here for advice about what client to get

BUT

All you seem to do is talk. When have you taken action? And even if you do take some action, you still talk - you talk more than anyone else really can or should, and you do it in a rather obnoxious way.

Synfonic:
I'll bet with you that you wont code your client till its finished.
It sounds like you're changing your mind everyday.
(New name, working for another network).

Its not easy to code a client.
I've been coding my client for a 3 weeks now, and its still crap.
(Yeah, I have been working 2 weeks on the ping/pong routing/caching).

Its not easy like you always assume.

You clearly aren't in marketing. It frequently goes: Come up with name, brainstorm on what color the packaging should be, brainstorm on what color the product should be, decide what product should actually do, advertise product, take orders, THEN start working on actual product. Syfonic is obviously a natural born marketing person.

Does that include the usual bullshit ?

Dont be too sure that I'm not the marketing hotshot :)
I have already built tons of ultra-evil spyware and ads into my client. The client itself is not finished, still have to code almost 60%.. but hey! I'm the marketing hotshot!
