What's happened to the network?

Was wondering if there's something going on with the Gnutella network. I tried doing a search but the search button is grayed out. Also, trying "Connect" from the "file" menu does nothing.

Is the system down?

There's nothing wrong with the network. Which client are you using?

THE NETWORK IS DOWN!!!

I have the same problem - unable to connect at all today, despite multiple attempts and downloading fresh version of limewire...

Anybody know what is going on???

Your problems sound identical to mine. I'll drink to that

I've had the same problem for a few days now... I can't connect to any of the auto-connect servers:

qtellaconnect.ath.cx:6347
router.limewire.com:6346
connect1/2/3.gnutellanet.com:6346
connect3.bearshare.net:6346

I'm using Qtella 0.5.3 under GNU/Linux... a few other people have posted similar problems in the Qtella board.

If you are using Limewire this may help you:

Paradog:

Many thanks for the help. Went to the site and Greg was a tremendous help. Just as an additional assist, here's what he said to do:

1.) Select "view" from the menu bar and click on "connections". That will dispaly the "connections" tab.
2.) Click on the "connections" tab and type in this address in the smaller, white box at the bottom: 208.239.76.100.
3.) Click the "add" button.
4.) You should immediately notice several connections opening up.
5.) Greg noted that users of ver. 2.5.5 should not have this problem

Hope this helps.

Dan
