The emule network has better content than gnutella ATM, however I think gnutella is far better in terms of technology. It would be great to add network support for the emule network so that gnutella could attrack emule/ed2k users to the gnutella network and so that the content could flow more easily into gnutella.

There has to be someone out there with the know how and a little extra time

Yeah, but adding edonkey support to a gnutella client does not makes no sense at all.

sure it does. The emule/ed2k network has the best content out there. But the clients suck. I have been in queue for days without downloading anything before. Gnutella is a superior network for content distribution but lacks the quality of content that emule has. If you could give emule users a client that can still access emule content but give them the superior performance of gnutella than many of them (and their content) would migrate to the gnutella network. And for all the current gnutella users the emule content would flow more readily onto the gnutella network.

If you want eMule/ed2k/mldonkey content use eMule/ed2k/mldonkey. Gnutella is a different network and it might not work as well for the same kind of content as the edonkey2000 network.

Content is not the problem at the moment.

Once PFS is more universily implemented it (content) will be the only problem separating gnutella from emule/ed2k. With gnutella being far superior to emule in many ways.
