How to setup a P2P "Server"

I want to setup some kind of server so that when user start up the P2P client, they can connect/search instantly through this server. Anyone know how to do that?

Right now I am using NeoNapster , and I have to wait for a while for it to establish connection with Ultrapeer before I can do any search/download. But other P2P client such as morpheous, limewire can start search almost instantly.. so I think maybe they setup some backend service and i am thinking of simulate that also.. anyone can help ?

Thanks

They have it far easier: They use an internal host-catcher, which evaluates the connections and if that fails they use GWebCaches.
