Noob question I just started using LimeWire since it seems like its the most popular of the gnutella clients. But does it use the g2 network like Shareaza does? I also use Shareaza a bit too, and love the awesome GUI. But it returns searches much much slower, and seems to take over every kind of link even when I choose not to. Is this much slower searching caused by using the g2 network rather than g1? I heard about some controversy in the past over the g2 network. Anywhere I can find info on using g2 vs g1? |
No. Limewire "only" connects to the Gnutella network. Ivan In the dark we make a brighter light |
