Where does it say how many users are on Gnutella?

On Napster at the bottom it would say how many users and files are currently on and the same for Kazaa.

That's because they are centralised networks. On a decentralised network like Gnutella, it is impossible to know how many users there are. What you can see at the bottom of the screen of the Gnutella clients is your horizon, the number of hosts you can see.
