Jumpy rips missing data poor sound
 

Need some help:

My completed files sound like records with dust on them.... Jumpy poor sound or flat out missing or crackeling areas with the file that makes for poor listening.
is there a way to clean up the files or select better ones before I start? I came over from Shareaza and most of my files were great. The speed was slower there, and uploads here are fast.

That's good advice Peerless gives you. I deleted some music once because I thought it was bad... It wasn't, it was the player. :)

Also look out for good quality, 320 bitrate is the best. But, if I can't get those, I go for nothing less than 160 :D

By player, do you mean musicmatch or something better. Can you make suggestions for better players to provide clean sounding rips

Both free.. I'm sure others will give different suggestions, we all have our favourites..mine is QCD :)
