this is most likely a file assocaton problem although i don't know how to fix this i can help you play the file. I am mainly a pc person but I use only G3,G4 Powerbooks for my portable needs and i had this problem for a while it was driving me up the darn wall


get your favorite player open then select open file find the mp3 and click on it opening it from the player seems to work but let me guess when you click on the file from the folder it does not open (-:


if this is not your problem try and download Quicktime 5.02
or if all else fails call apple tech support and find out how to associte files types to programs. tell them you cant't play your MP3 files

after you have solved this problem i would recommend as a good jukebox program itunes it can wrote to a portable player or even burn a cd if you need to. oh and did i mention the cool visuals that made me throw up at my friends house when he showed me his DSP Projector, if they can do that then i say they are damn good (-: Have Fun!!!
