settings
 
i have an 350 kb/s down;ond and 43 kb/s upload at the moment ( from isp) .

is there any document where i can find my settings for:

connections to ultrapeers ( have set 7 )
connections to peers ( set to 4 )
connections to leafs ( set to 15 )

i have no idear why i have set these settings , but i would really like to know how i can figure this out .

try to get the best settings for me and the network .

Salut Gnome2, as a leaf you normally have to connect to either 2 (bearshare, shareaza) or 3 UPs (Limewire 4.1, giFT).

As an UP you have to connect to:
32 UPs (LW or gnucDNA) or 26 (Bearshare)
0 connections from peers (these are very old clients)
30 leaves (LW) or 45 (bearshare)

The settings found in LW and bearshare are those who suits the best the query routing protocol (QRP), dynamic querying and the latest Gnutella technologies.
