how to get amount of files available on top.... Sometimes, when I am running Limewire (4.0.6 Pro for Max OS X) I can see the total amount of files that are available to me at the top of the limewire program screen, at other times these numbers are not there; does anyone know why?Can I control this feature by the preferences or some other method? |
Click at the top of the Status column twice & your active dwnlds will list at the top (you'll see a small arrow pointing up.) So you can arrange the lists however you like; alphabetically, or by # or bitrate or size or type, etc. Also if you (on mac Ctrl -click) click + I'm not sure on pc perhaps alt on any of the windows & you'll see many more options. |
number of files at top of program window... Thanks for the info, but this was not my question; what I was asking about is the top of the actual window for the Limewire download window: the one that says "LimeWire: Enabling Open Information Sharing" on the top. I would like to know how to get the total number of files that are available for me to search, and download from on the Internet-this is what I sometimes see listed (usually in thousands of gigabytes, on the top of the screen, and then sometimes it is gone). I want to know how to get this info to reappear. Thanks |
Go to LW's menu Tools-Statistics & Network. This is a very approx no. anyway. |
thanks thanks for the info & tip-JDD |
