Beyond File Sharing I remember reading a couple of months back an article or two about some relatively unexploited capabilites of the gnutella protocol. For example, servers could be written to respond to queries beyond simply returning whether a file is present or not--acting as a calculator, returning addresses, all manner of things. What i'm wondering is if anyone might know where these articles are now as well as if anyone has explored this area to write in-gnutella-net applications. And not the *.EXE annoyance. Thanks, rick |
