 There's no 100% anonymity for the masses yet. The EFF is promoting TOR as a start. http://tor.eff.org/ Good point about upload blocking, though. Lots of users think they're sharing, but don't realize that they may be filtered on uploads and are inadvertently leeching. Change ISP's, or talk to them about how to get a port that allows filesharing. Worked for me. Does COX allow filesharing (unfiltered bandwidth) on for its higher-priced connections? Check out the broadband reports http://www.broadbandreports.com/nsea...ox+filesharing They look to be allowing filesharing, so you may want to check that they are indeed filtering gnutella traffic.  |
