The first time

Lo all
I dont know gnutella at all, I discover it by surfing on...wikipedia!
Finally as I'm working under FreeBSD I decided to install mutella which is in the ports catalogs now my question is: how could I find servers? networks etc...?
Could anyone explain me how it works at the beginning and how I could share and d/l files?
Thx

If this is your first time with gnutella, why not start on a client thatīs a bit easier to use?

The first is written in java and I dont want to waste my time to get this stuff working on my 64bits plateform ;)
The second link does not work ...Havent u an intro to this network and sth about the first connection?
Indeed I find the gui of mutella very user friendly but u need to know how to connect and find servers (and wich one?)
Oki that's good I found why: gnutella works like a service and need to be activate at bootstrap so when I installed it I dont run this service and this morning after a reboot it works got hosts and so on oki good:D
Thx

Limewire also uses Java but it can be impossible for some surfers to access the site, the reason escapes me for now. Googling Mutella should give you results, although as I understand it Mutella has not been developed since August 2004
