connection problem

For some reason no gnutella client connects to the servers, althouth they resume the already started downloads. I can ping the servers but cannot telnet to port 6346, where i assume the connection is made. the only reason i can think of is that the admin suddenly disabled routing of such packets, yesterday it worked fine.

any ideas?

Time Warner block 6346?

I'm seeing this as well. From all appearances it looks like Time-Warner is blocking port 6346. Any gnutella developers considering having hosts/servers work from multiple ports (perhaps from publicly used ports so they won't be blocked)?

connections

I followed a post that liked to a web site with servent addresses and now I am back to file sharing! ITunes 2 is awsome, gnutella rules the web.

Do you mean www.gnufrog.com
:)

Also, Cyclocide suggested adding

connect3.bearshare.net

to your Auto Connect Host list.
