Problem Solved! I got rid of that ad infested version 2.x of Limewire and went back to 1.6d (or 1.7c) and everything works fine. I still have problems maintaining a good list of hosts though. It fluctuates and drops all together at times... much more than ever before. It's acceptable though. Ditch any limewire above 1.7... those ads suck and they removed a lot of nice technical features in the newer version. Who needs an mp3 player built into Limewire anyway? |

Have you tried changing ports? AT&T may just be blocking the common Gnutella network ports (i.e. 6346 & 6347). Here is a list of port uses. http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~rakerman/port-table.html Try setting your port to something normaly used by another application (not one you personally use though). |
