Is Gnutella V0.56 by nullsoft an open source program?
Written in which language?
would u mind telling me where can I get the source code of Gnutella V0.56 for modifcation?

It wasn't open sourced. That is an internet myth. Many of the early clients that were built on reverse engineering Gnutella 0.56 were open source.
