Gnutella client that dials in using dial-up networking? I'm a 56k modem user, and I'm disconnected by my ISP every 2 hours. Is there a Gnutella client program, with dial-up networking capability, that can dial back in after disconnection and resume downloads? Thanks for your advice Mr Meaner |
There is auto redialing software at www.download.com |
Must be a Windows problem, since my Linux autodials on disconnect out of the box. My ISP disconnects me every 24h and since I have a flatrate my Gnutella or my FTP runs 24/7. Resuming downloads is what most Gnutella programs automatically do. |
Simply 'share' your connection and tag the box 'dail on demand' or whatever it was called. Then, ALL gnutella clients will redail ;) At least this works in w2k :) |
i have same problem w2k may work but old 98 dont cut it no more I dont see any redail box |
