What is the "neti" network... proprietary or something open like Gnutella?
Why does it "rule"... any advantages compared to Gnutella, how many users and files?

Unregistered February 20th, 2002 09:54 AM

Neti is an "upcoming" bookmark sharing network.

and it really ROCKS !

Unregistered February 21st, 2002 02:09 PM

why?

Unregistered February 21st, 2002 08:18 PM

It rocks cause it makes money!

It installs spyware through a cool installer that parks itself in your system tray! Isn't it cool to have a installer stay around after you install?

You think you have a brain, you think you can decide when a upgrade is available, but why bother using those little chemicals up there when this cool spamware thing is in your tray?

Don't worry, it's not spyware! You can trust marketing types not to tell when you are online or not. They won't use that information for marketing purposes, really!

And look, it's open source!

Ok, well it's time to give up on this, so now that it's trash, give away the source! Isn't that what open source is all about?

Remember, to write everything from scratch each version, so there is a need for spamware so you can keep on starting from scratch, cause you never get it right the first time, but will the next time, promise! It's just the way good programmers program. It's not for the glory or the buck, really!
