Making big $$$ with Gnutella

If you could somehow give away 1 CD full of all the files you are sharing to each person who connects, downloads would practically stop.

So watch the network for popular files, download them then create a weekly Gnutella CD collection that contains all the most popular files for $5 each. Ship them USPS for $0.34 and make a bundle!

Pretend that it's a history CD, someone has to keep a record of all this, don't they?

Think it is both unpractical to use this approach since people don't like what "most people like," they have more specific interests. Like, say, I like Sakura Taisen (Sakura Wars, a Japanese cartoon. Rocks.) But that's daaaaarn sure that there won't be no episodes of it on your collection CDs, no way I would pay for them if I look for that, right at the moment. Most people would want to see albums, as well, not a mix of whatevers for that week.

The other thing: consider the ethical side. Of course, I'm not saying we're all angels and we totally respect copyrights and stuffs, since I know it is not true... but there's a difference between using this only for your personal sake (i.e. listening that music, playing that game, using that program, watching that video, jer.... ehm, you get the idea), OR use it for to burn CDs of them to everyone but the stray cats around you for profit. You cannot just sell the blue sky. At least, not for long.

Anyway, keep the net up :)) I'm trying my best
