How To You Stop?

Is there any way to cancel a search once it's been started?

Not really; it expires once its TTL has expired. Just start a new one.

Does this imply that if I am getting few or no replies to my searches (for very common terms like "stones") that I should increase one of the TTL values? I am noticing this problem with Gnotella (not Gnutella), by the way.
