I'd just use PeerGuardian and keep it updated...

hostiles.txt

I'm new using Gnutella clients, i actually use AresGalaxy, eMule and Bittorrent. eMule clients have the file ipfilter.dat to filter fake nodes (RIAA nodes?), where can i get an updated file like this for Gnutella?

Thanx a lot.

you really ought to keep your posts focused to a specific area as opposed to posting all over the place...

you can consider yourself lucky in 2 ways:

1) I haven't banned you

2) I'm taking the time to point out the following thread (which a simple use of the search function would have gotten a hit from)

I was using P2P since year 2000, i used Napster, AudioGalaxy, WinMX, KaZaa, Imesh, AresGalaxy, eMule, Bittorrent, recently giFT, i'm new on Gnutella Network, my native language is not english, i'm evaluating if i want to use Gnutella, because of that i'm starting on forums, if i'm disturbing you and you want to ban me, do it, i don't care, i will going to search another P2P technology.

Hi Pablo, I would also take Peerlesses advice by using Peerguardian, as he stated in post #2. I would also suggest getting your block lists from here.

I-BlockList

I think this should cover all your P2P activities.

Google PeerGuardian2 or PG2

as noted, if you want an all inclusive protector for p2p activities, use PG2...it is separate and will work for all filesharing apps as it filters out known bad IPs before they get to the p2p software....
