Available Gnutella Topology Snapshot?

Hi there,
I am currently writing my diploma thesis in the area of p2p networks.
Because of that I need a number of topology snapshots of the gnutella network.
I looked on g2paranha, but could not find any downloadable topology data.
Does anyone know where I could get some snapshots?
I know that it would be possible to crawl the network myself to get a snapshot of a small part of the network, but this would take me too long.

greets

dunno...seems from my recollection of the thesis scenario you would NEED to do it yourself to validate your theories and do a thorough job...

You could simply contact dcat with your request. He's normally available on the #Shareaza and #Shareaza-dev channels on P2PChat and he has probably also an account on the Shareaza forums (on SourceForge.net).

BTW, the graphics and data you will get from g2paranha are about the G2 network, not about the original gnutella. I think since the LimeWire team took off their gnutella crawler, there is none available for public anymore...
