 Nero should have no effect...doesn't for me... BearShare doesn't use Java so that's not the problem... which, by process of elimination, leaves your AV program...I know nothing about it, so can offer no advice about how its setup... a review by PCmag.com was not exactly favorable.... Antivirus Software Review: Free Antivirus Software you can also Google 'free antivirus reviews' to find other articles... obviously I'm advising chunking that program you have...
