A}--- gnutella tech problems ---{A

i am new to gnutella, but not new to the internet or file sharing. i am having a problem in that any connections i make (through bearshare) are lost lmost at once, after showing super-high connection rates that crash almost straight away. i am running a virtual firewall (hacktracer) but i have enabled gnutella - anybody got any tips on how i can get it working??
