Exception in thread error upon start..

Hi, im using slackware linux 8, i have installed jre-1.3.1_0 correctly, but when i startup the LimeWireLinux script i get the error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/zerog/lax/LAX right after it says Launching Installer... it doesnt seem to be like any of the other errors described... am i missing a dependancie or something?

thnx

type java -version to make sure your system is using the right JRE by default

If it's the right one, simply delete the installer. Then go to http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download_other and get the .tgz for Linux. Unpack it in your favourite directory and start it by entering

~/LimeWire> ./runLime.sh

That installer is crap.

What does "java -version" return?

fix

according to an earlier post that worked for me
put :
ulimit -s 2048
in front of everything --something to do with thread sizes. It worked for me!
