Look inside the installer script and look for the option that enables debugging output.

If you don't have the newest JRE or Java 2 SDK, install it first and then set your PATH to where the 'java' program is.
Then rename /usr/bin/java to /usr/bin/java.old before running the installer. That solved my problem. Might solve yours.

Hello!
Excuse my newbie-question: how do I look inside the installer script?

Default edit the installer script

you can use your favorite editor (e.g. mcedit or kwrite-->KDE) and open LimeWireLinux.bin
