becoming UltraPeer = 20% PL

Hi,

I grabbed LimeWire from your site when my previous file sharing app (audigalaxy) went under. Due to my decent cable modem bandwidth, the AI (I guess) in the network made me an UltraPeer.

However, upon doing a traceroute, I see that all that data traffic is creating 20% packet loss, even to my gateway. Im running a 915mhz P3 with 512M of ram, and red hat 7.3 .. I guess my question is:

"Is a Java application fast enough to handle being an UltraPeer?"

thanks.

It's fast enough, the packet loss is from network congestion. You may be better off connecting only as a leaf if it keeps up.
