-peace | That depends on how you want to do your resolution change. If you want a "quickie" method, hit "Ctrl", "Alt", and "+" or "-" at the same time.
Example:
Ctrl Alt +
or
Ctrl Alt -
to go in the other direction.
The other method depends on how you boot up into linux. Do you boot into level 3 or level 5. Level 3 is the console/terminal and level 5 is the GUI-based login like windows.
