Talking I Got It Fixed Thx To Everyone That Help Me =)

The export command wasn't working prolly cuz I was doing it wrong, so I did a 'vi' command on the .bash_profile and tried to edit it that way but I didn't know any of the commands, so I opened the .bash_profile in 'KATE' (advanced text editor) anyways I added the export commands under the other export command that was already there, and saved it logged in and out did a 'which java' command and bodda bing bodda boom it was there, I also did a 'java -version' command and that also worked too, so I was very delighted, so I did the 'sh' command on the LimeWireLinux.bin and it installed it with some errors that didn't seem to effect the installation process... hmmm.. ok so just wanted you to stop boggling your minds thanks for the help =)

What were some of the errors if you could remember anything about them? This is important as I don't like error messages.

Default Unrelated

I see I have to login first before my posts are acknowledeged by me and not some other anonymous "unregistered" nDiScReEt. Weird but noted for future reference. Well, when I get back home, I will update "The Ultimate Instructions for Installing LimeWire on Linux" type do dad with instructions on how to use editors. I have just been busy for the past few days helping friends move from one place to another.

Cool Error Message..

Nothing big, a file already had the same name of one of the files the installer wanted to create, it just renamed it but it just wanted me to be aware of the error is all =)

So Don't worry,
SED

That depends on how you want to do your resolution change. If you want a "quickie" method, hit "Ctrl", "Alt", and "+" or "-" at the same time.

Example:
Ctrl Alt +
or
Ctrl Alt -
to go in the other direction.

The other method depends on how you boot up into linux. Do you boot into level 3 or level 5. Level 3 is the console/terminal and level 5 is the GUI-based login like windows.

Thank you SED, that was very reassuring and comforting to know. I don't like "loose" errors. That is how windows work ...and don't! LoL
