Adding App to Gnome Panel?

Has anyone been successful in getting the LW app to run from their panel? I've tried the "LimeWire", "runLime.sh", and "sh runLime.sh" in the command field (along with path) with no success at getting app started.... Works great executing it otherways, it is truily an excellent application!

Thanks LW team, excellent job! Thanks for remembering us Linux users!

GNOME launcher

The command I use for my GNOME panel launcher is this. (I run limewire from under my home directory.) You may have to chmod 755 runLime.sh if it's not executable.

cd ~/limewire; ./runLime.sh

Not doing it!

I tried, just not cutting it! It run's via Gnome run program and double clciking it from a file manager. Went to root and tried the ./runLime.sh and got some java error???

Thanks for helping!

Try This

I installed it at /home/edward/LimeWire

I put the line java -jar /home/edward/LimeWire/LimeWire.jar

and it worked for me.

However, 2.7.3 seems to always launch the startup wizard...some bug with LimeWire...not the link.

should be runlime.jar
