Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: lax/nl/java/option/java/st

Hello, I have:

SuSE 7.3
j2sdk1.4.0 linked in /usr/lib/java
Installed in /home/jllabres/LimeWire

Instalation works, but when I call runLimeWire gives me the error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: lax/nl/java/option/java/stack

I have seen lax.jar in /home/jllabres/LimeWire
, but It can't find it.

Any idea?

SOLUTION

In LimeWire folder find LimeWire.lax
open it in an editor and find this line:

lax.nl.java.option.java.stack. size.max=65536

get rid of the space between stack. size so you have:

lax.nl.java.option.java.stack.size.max=65536

Sorted!!!!

THANK YOU

That worked like a champ. There WAS a space there, I got rid of the space and it works like a champ.

Bug still exists in version 2.6.5

This bug has been floating around these forums for quite a while and the newest version of Limewire still does not fix it. Come on Limewire developers, this is an easy thing to fix and seems to be frustrating a lot of people. My thoughts are that the housecleaning should be tended to before you build on a new extension to your house.
