i found the answer to the java error for the vm
rename /usr/java/j2re1.4.0_02 to /usr/xpg4 and it will work

u want to decompress the .bin file thru the konsole or any other terminal then run the j2re-1_4_0_02-fcs-linux-i586.rpm
file. After it is installed move and rename the folder /usr/java/j2re1.4.0_02 to /usr/xpg4 then run ./LimeWireLinux.bin ...remember j2re1.4.0_02 changes to xpg4.

Is the error that says...
"-jar Not Understood. Ignoring" Just wondering cause thats the error Im getting.
