Good morning all.

I am assuming that when one performs a query one will not see one's own shared files in the results--that seems to make sense. But when I ask my brother--a windows user--to look for a .ogg file that I have shared he does not find it either. How can I be sure that I am successfully sharing this file? Is ogg not supported?

The Gnutella network is to large to search completely. If you brother enters a search, he will probably just search some different part of Gnutella.

If you are on the same LAN, wait for the next version. The next version automatically searches all local running clients.
