Default newbie --- I can't do it !!!

I downloaded the file to install limewire. I am installing it on a redhat 8.0 system. I recently found out that it is a binary file. I also very recently found out how to make the file executable. But stoill, NADDA.

I click on the limewire.bin icon and I get a message to ( dislpay; run in terminal; or run). I choose " run" , and nothing happens. I choose " run in terminal", I wait and a screen with scrolling text blinks for a moment and thats it.

By the way, 2 weeks ago, I tried to install this, and " SOMEHOW ", I ended up not being able to boot past "init run level 3" whatever that is, I ended up erasing ,my boot sector and rebuilding a tripple booting system from scratch. So now I have a nice new 80 Gig drive just for linux.

Some one PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
