newbie needs help bad!!!

Been trying get limewire installed for ever coming up with some prblems i coulduse some feedback on...

first i installed java and that seemed to be ok. next i tried executing limewirelinux.bin by typing:

$ sh ./LimeWireLinux.bin
I got this message:

then i tried with a different installer...

i typed:

You're obviously using the wrong java version.
Type java -version to confirm that.

Remove all traces from kaffee or older JRE's from your system.

You have a conflict of another java program on your system. i.e. kaffe or jdkgcj. Remove them.
