Linux Install Hangs I'm trying to install LimeWire v1.4 for Linux and I'm trying to install it on a Red Hat 7.1 System. I have tried it in telnet and in xterm but both hang right after it prints out "Preparing to instal...". Top reports a process named jre that is taking up 99% of the cpu time.. Obviously there's an endless loop in there somewhere. -Dan |
Can you run it with strace and let us know what system calls it is doing when it is not finishing? -greg |
When I did an strace it actually died instead of going into an endless loop.
