I have also had this problem. I think that this is a "feature" rather than a bug. This may be an implementation that makes it more difficult for users to terminate uploads. In this way, more users will see a greater percentage of successful downloads. I do not know this for sure, so if a forum administrator or LimeWire programmer would comment, we'd all appreciate it. :-)
