Problem installing

Hi. I am trying to install LimeWire in RedHat Linux 7.1. I Downloaded
the .tgz file and unzipped everything. I installed the Java Runtime
Environment from the link in the readme and tried to run limewire's
shell script. It gave me this message:

[mike@localhost LimeWire]$ ./runlime.sh
Couldn't find or load essential class `java/lang/Object'
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError java/lang/Object
./runlime.sh: line 11: 1773 Aborted (core
dumped) java -classpath . RunLime
[mike@localhost LimeWire]$

Please tell me whats wrong and how to rectify the problem.

Email me at bloodsipper@clansystemshock.com
Thanks.

I am also having this problem. I installed the JRE 1.3.1 RPM before and after trying to run runlime.sh , but get the same error:

Couldn't find or load essential class `java/lang/Object' java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError java/lang/Object
runlime.sh: line 11: 2148 Aborted (core dumped) java -classpath . RunLime

What exactly is a classpath? Maybe if someone could help me to understand that, the problem will be easy to fix.
