Installing on Mandrake 8.0 used "su" and logged in a terminal as root. Ran sh ./LimeWireLinux.bin gives this error "Preparing to install... The included VM could not be uncompresses. Please try to download the installer again and make sure you download using 'binary' mode. Please do not attempt to install this currently downloaded copy." I tried to download 3 times, with the exact same error. Using Konqueror, there is no way to specify to download as 'binary'. Thanks for any help. |
I also have a Mandrake 8.0 and I had this output to my sh. /LimeWire command: Preparing to install... SIGSEGV received at bfffdf58 in /tmp/install.dir.5778/Linux/resource/jre/lib/linux/native_threads/libjava.so. Processing terminated Writing stack trace to javacore6850.txt ... ./LimeWireLinux.bin: line 1: 6850 Segmentation fault /tmp/install.dir.5778/Linux/resource/jre/bin/jre -Djava.compiler= -noverify -cp "::/tmp/install.dir.5778/InstallerData:/tmp/install.dir.5778/InstallerData/installer.zip" com.zerog.lax.LAX "/tmp/install.dir.5778/temp.lax" /tmp/env.properties.5778 What does it mean? Many thanks, Goberiko |
