i am also having the same problem

i successfully installed j2sdk on my fedora core 3.0
rpm - j2sdk

gives me:

j2sdk-1.4.2_06-fcs

kernel:
kernel-2.6.9-1.667

i am stumped also but just installed fc3 from suse 9.0 and am not ready to move on again. anyone have any ideas?
