Unhappy limewire player wont play

hello guys,eversince I have had L/W the on board player wont play. I have to play my music files with another player,eg. Music Match and Real player,what could be the problem ?? thanks

Under the "Tools" menu click "Options".
On the left side look for "Player"
make sure that "Use LimeWire MP3 Player" is checked off.
