Question MS files?

Hey, i've been using linux for about 6 months now and have had LW since 3rd Jan 05. LW is the best P2P file sharing system that i have come across. Congrats to LW!

it has occurred to me that MS uses exe files and so that exe is a ms file format. Am i correct? and if i am, is there a way of bein able to open the exe on linux(9)? you see, i've managed to files applications that allow me to open most ms file formats apart from:
WMV/WMA, EXE, ZIP files & files that rely on divx. Could someone help me?

Thank you for your time.
Frimo
