Default Java 1.5.0 and LimeWire 4.2.5 prob.

I found a problem installing LimeWire 4.2.5 Basic on Mandrake Linux 10.0 w/ Java 1.5.0.

It gave me this error:
[root@penguin1 Downloads]# ./LimeWireLinux.bin
Preparing to install...
Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive...
Configuring the installer for this system's environment...

Launching installer...

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/zerog/lax/LAX

help me please!!

That _looks_ like a problem with the installer (corrupt? build with a bac classpath?). You could try using the the linux tar ball.
Try here: http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...oadother.shtml

Or here: http://www9.limewire.com:82/download/LimeWireLinux.tgz

Just make a lime directory in your home or something, unpack it there, and launch with the runLime script.

I used the Java RPM installer but runLime kept giving me this error:

Code:
[******@penguin1 LimeWireLinux]$ sh runLime.sh
runLime.sh: line 14: java: command not found

I have that exact same error. Can you tell me how you edited your script?
