Something went wrong with LimeWire.
Maybe you're using the wrong version of Java?
(LimeWire is tested against and works best with with Sun's JRE, Java 1.4+)
The version of Java in your PATH is:
java version "1.4.2"
jdkgcj 0.3.1 (http://www.arklinux.org/projects/jdkgcj)
gcj (GCC) 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3)

So I am using java 1.4.2...
but it don't run... i've already asked a friend, but he cannot tell me why LimeWire won't start.
CAN YOU HELP? -thanks in advance!

Hi,

there is a bug in our java-detection script. It will be fixed in the next version (ETA next week or so). If you do not want to wait, do the following:

1. open a terminal and become root
2. cd /usr/lib/LimeWire
3. rm -f runLime.sh
4. wget http://www.limewire.org/zlatin/runLime.sh
5. chmod a+x runLime.sh
6. chmod a+r runLime.sh

after that Limewire should start properly.
